HKU Campus Tour

Dear 3A and 3E students,

You are reminded that you are going to participate in the HKU Campus Tour coming wednesday (23 Feb., 2011). I and Ms. Chong have decided to arrange some extra activity for you on that day.

*Pre-tour readings*

You should read through the attached TWO pieces of news clippings before the tour. These give you some information about the tour and the history of the University of Hong Kong (HKU).

*During the tour*

During the tour, you should take some pictures and jot down the key points in ONE of the following areas (assigned by class teacher):

• Past, present and future of HKU
• Highlights on architectures of HKU buildings
• People in HKU
• Facilities in HKU
• Faculties / Departments in HKU
• Academic structure of HKU Programmes

You are strongly encouraged to actively participate in follow-up discussion/interview after the tour. The green gown guides (綠袍大使) are more than welcome to answer your questions regarding the above areas.

*Post-tour presentation*

You are asked to present your findings after the tour. Details will be announced in due course.
